The objective of this study is to analyze the process of acculturation of Brazilian consumers to South Korean culture and to understand how it affects the consumption of other products linked to Asian culture, mainly related to entertainment, language, and gastronomy. It s important to mention that the study was carried out by using exploratory qualitative research, by semi-structured interviews with 22 consumers of these products aiming to obtain answers related to the study problem and using the guiding concepts presented in the theoretical framework, which are Identity and Lifestyle, Consumer Acculturation and Diderot Effect. Thereby, it was possible to verify that the impacts on the behavior of these Brazilian consumers of South Korean cultural products are diverse.
