Resumo: | |||||||||||||
In this project, a game was improved in order to create a virtual environment to support the rehabilitation of people with physical difficulties in the upper limbs. The game was developed in Unity for Oculus Rift and has the interaction being done directly with the user s hands, for which Leap Motion is used to detect movements and with the addition of Myo Armband, we were able to track the effort within each gesture execution. In the game, traditional therapy exercises are used as mechanics and it was developed in a way to keep the user entertained, generating greater engagement on patients in need of treatment and interest on people that are not in need of rehabilitation. User experience tests ere conducted, most of them, with people without any type of disability in the upper limbs, in which the participants declared that they would like to have more experiences with the improved game. Major tests with patients will be elaborated in future works.
