Resumo:
Nickel superalloys are widely used in offshore industry, especially in the oil and gas extraction. This application is explained because of its corrosion resistance properties. On the opposite hand, these materials have a high hardness and conse-quently low machinability. Thinking on its difficulty, was developed on this study a topology optimiza-tion, using the software Ansys, of a face milling tool in order to increase its struc-tural stiffness.
