The work explores the behavior of individuals in teams in a self-organizing work model guided by an agile methodology and the challenges faced for the effective functioning of this team. It is used as a basis an exploratory field research, with individuals without previous experience in self-organization in agile teams, where these participate in such autonomous teams. The research is guided by the reports of these individuals and by the theoretical references that lead the results found, enabling observations, suggestions and interpretations on the challenges encountered in the effective adoption of an autonomous work model of agile project teams.
