Resumo:
This work aims to do a case study with Lojas Hilston, a retailer headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1965, currently has stores in various districts of the city, most located in the west side, also having a unit in the center. The purpose of the research is to understand how the organization works and understand how Data Analytics can contribute to the company, analyzing benefits and possible risks of investing in Big Data. In order to propose improvements for the businesses of Histon Stores and understand the importance of these tools in a highly competitive market such as virtual retail. And seek to delve into some technologies related to the context of Big Data.
