Resumo:
The pricing of products or services is a decisive process in defining the success or failure of any company. In the payment method industry it could not be different. This paper aims to research the price settling of the main services of acquirers, analyze the context of their formation and the participation of the main stakeholders in this process. For this analysis, two Brazilian fintechs considered to be the most recent success stories in the national market were chosen: PagSeguro and Stone. The methodology of this research was a case study on two of the largest companies in the Brazilian payment method market.
