This work deals with the feasibility study of transforming Botafogo from a non-profit entity to a for-profit entity. In it, a qualitative and descriptive research on the subject was carried out, seeking through the interviewees knowledge to identify the problems in Botafogo and to identify the best possible solution. In this study, it is concluded that due to the great management and financial problems of Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, the solution found was the transformation of the club into a Publicly-held Corporation.
