This study aims to understand the internationalization of the Brazilian singer and businesswoman Anitta, through the analysis of her strategies concerning the adaptation of her musical product understood as not only the music, but also the language in which it is reproduced, the musical genre, its distribution, its promotion, and the partnerships made by the singer. Here we review Anitta s achievements since the song Paradinha in 2017 until the release in 2021 of her single Girl from Rio. This study considered as its main point only the internationalization of the
singer in countries of Latin American and the United States. Concepts such as joint
venture and marketing mix were applied, as well as concepts within the music
industry such as featuring, collabs, and extended play.
