|
The Brazilian Innovation System has several players, among them the Intellectual Property Offices, which provide services for preparing and monitoring patents. The objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between this type of organization and the Brazilian Institutes of Science and Technology, mostly public universities, through the Technological Innovation Centers, in order to identify the main challenges and advantages for the offices, in addition to verifying opportunities for future action that strengthen this relationship and foster a culture of innovation in Brazil. Management, environmental and cultural difficulties, direct and indirect advantages and opportunities for future performance as a Technology Broker were identified.
