The present study identified the role of the Fábrica de Startups accelerator, located in Rio de Janeiro, in the open innovation process between startups and corporations. The research was made with four entrepreneurs who have their startups accelerated or residing at the Fábrica de Startups, as well as a representative of the accelerator, making it possible to reach an answer to the research question. With the results obtained, it was possible to identify the participation and open innovation initiatives developed by the studied accelerator, as well as the perception of the entrepreneurs who are present in their environment.
