This study aims to investigate and analyze how the evolution of women in the job market took place, along with the difficulties faced by them, as they are still considered by society to be a fragile sex. The text is divided into topics for better understanding and analysis of the research. The first part of the study presents the inspirations and references that formulated the theme raised here. Once the contextualization is presented, we enter the second part, which points out the procedures used in data collection for analysis and interpretation, aiming to achieve the research objective. Being it, a bibliographic research about the approached subject and current data collected from academic materials and articles already published. Finally, we combine the theories raised with the results obtained in the field study. We reached a conclusion of what was developed during the research in principle and what was the market progress in practice, reinforcing the main idea suggested.
