Resumo:
This work is a summary of a descriptive and qualitative research that began in 2019, and which was based on a PIBIC research of 2017/2018. Five case studies were carried out: Sítio A Boa Terra (SP); Ecobio (RS); Organic Três Picos (RJ); Sitio do Moinho (RJ) and Vale das Palmeiras, whose information was searched on various sites available on the Internet due to restrictions imposed by the pandemic of COVID-19. A completed questionnaire and transcript of interviews from the previous PIBIC survey were also analyzed. All five owners are very committed to the sustainable values of production and organic food. Product quality and variety are competitive strategies valued by all five businesses and effective collaborative strategies have also been identified within the supply chain in four of the five cases.
