|
The main objective of this work is to make an analysis showing the
importance of using the base categories in Brazilian football clubs as a form of
long-term investment to serve as a strategy to obtain an efficient management,
since all teams in the country suffered and still suffer from recurring debts from
previous administrations. For this, the cases of Flamengo, Athletico, Grêmio and
Santos were analyzed, which taking into account this decade, had success cases
with different strategies, but using the base categories as a common factor.
Flamengo reorganized its management with the help of selling players formed in
the club; Athletico used its innovative DNA as a competitive advantage; Grêmio
has been giving the boys an opportunity on the professional team and Santos is
the team which has earned the most in recente years.
