Resumo:
This study aimed to verify the relation between the composition of the investment portfolio of investors and their risk profile. For this, a survey was conducted with 150 respondents where the responses were submitted to a metric used by Banco do Brasil to identify the profile of the respondent between Conservative, Moderate and Aggressive. At the end of the survey, the respondent declared the composition in percentages of his investment portfolio among the main financial products. In parallel, an average of the investment portfolios suggested by Financial Institutions was made for each risk profile to then compare the results. The main conclusion was that investors in Conservative, Moderate and Aggressive groups have more assets considered to be more risky than suggested for their profile by Financial Institutions.
