Resumo:
Technical-financial work that offers a design of energy storage in a hybrid power plant on off-grid system. The study considers the expansion of a photovoltaic power plant enabling instantaneous overproduction which can be stored this energy in the batteries. This stored energy can reduce diesel consumption on the thermal power plant and thereby reduce its operating costs, as well reducing emissions of polluting gases. The project discusses whether the investment in batteries is technically and economically viable, considering battery specifications and economic features of the project. The study aims to define the interest in investing in batteries for isolated PV plant today.
