Resumo:
This document aims to analyze the impact of different tariff schemes and their cost allocation incentives in the presence of distributed generation (DG). The study is focused on the comparison with the current Brazilian system. It also presents the monetary consequences for consumers without the installation of distributed generation. An international benchmark was established as the basis for the study and several illustrative examples are investigated, allowing a simplified yet insightful comparison between several considered variables. This study demonstrates that the increase of distributed generation in the current brazilian model provokes a substantial rise in the final payments of the consumers whithout distributed generation installed.
