Export financing is one of the key conditions to increase
Brazilian companies competition capacity in the foreign
markets. Despite its importance in the international trade,
export financing holds a problem with regard to the access
to credit for the Brazilian companies. Moreover, there is
another problem of the uncertainty regarding the volume of
available resources for the export financing. Bearing these
two problems in mind, the study aims at demonstrating the
importance of the export credit to Brazilian companies and
analyzing the main difficulties faced by Brazilian
exporters in obtaining access to this sort of
financing.
