Resumo:
Currently, there are several options for women s tampons on market. Although most are disposable, there is a growing tendency for ecological and sustainable tampons. The use of disposable tampons generate tons of waste annually in the country and, for each woman, a huge expense, considering their menstrual cycle. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze, through focus groups, what are the impacts of use disposal tampons and enviromentally sustainable ones, what their differences and what has led women to change their habits to new ones. In addition, the study proposes a series of suggestions to companies that intendo r have already entered in this market.
