The paper aims to analyze one of the factors to successfully active the adoption of new technological tools, such as Big Data and Digital Analytics, measuring the level of understanding and adherence of these concepts by employees in companies, assessing the degree of impact on digital transformation. The concepts addressed were of technology, strategic planning and case study. The study focusses on two technological tools: Big Data and Digital Analytics, both tools are most commonly used in organizations strategy, impacting business significantly. For the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted with employees from innumerous companies targeting to measure the degree of comprehension on the two concepts previously considered, and to evaluate the sample’s impacts caused by the application of Big Data and Digital Analytics in the work performed. The results concluded that the understanding about the concepts were above average, although with some limitations highlighted by the participants.
