|
The present paper shows how to calculate the parameters of an overhead transmission line. For this purpose, a computational method will be used. First, the procedure that the program should follow will be presented, followed by program applications on real overhead transmission lines. Finally, some motivations for this procedure will be exemplified.
The paper discussion contains the methods on how to calculate the series impedance matrix, the shunt admittance matrix, the zero sequence, the positive sequence, and the negative sequence impedance.
