This study is about handmade sweets virtual market in Brazil, with the aim of identifying the main opportunities and threats for entrepreneurs who work, or intend to operate in this market, identifying the effect of different distribution channels, such as the Internet, on their strategies of business. The study presents several perceptions of interviewees who sell or buy handmade sweets in different sales channels added to some studies of several authors. Finally, the it points out the main challenges and opportunities of this market and its virtual sale, suggesting new studies in the area.
