This study aimed to understand the reasons that lead Brazilian consumers who live or lived abroad to consume products and services that refer to their country of origin, thus trying to analyze from a perspective of consumer behavior such as Mercado da Saudade. For that, were made a review of the literature on these subjects and then a qualitative research with Brazilians who have had the experience of living abroad for at least 2 years. From the data collected, an analysis was made divided into 4 items. It was concluded, according to the research question, the reasons, as well as factors and consequences, that lead such consumers in these situations to become agents of consumption in the socalled Mercado da Saudade.
