The study deals with the decision-making process in companies, focusing on strategic decisions. Through the approach of rationality and emotion, the work seeks to understand the weight and influence of these two factors for organizational decisions. The work counts bibliographical research of materials already published and with testimonials of professionals who are in the job market in position of long term decisions, with the purpose of understanding how this process happens for each of them. Finally, the study points out how decisions can be taken more efficiently, considering both factors and suggests new studies in the area.
