The FOREX is responsible for handling more than five trillion dollars a day. It is not incorrect to say that it is, perhaps, the largest volume market in the world. One of the barriers for the Brazilian investor is the fact that the CVM (Securities Commission) does not allow the prospection of clients and / or operations in this market by the Brazilian brokerage firms, which forces those interested to send their money abroad, hence another barrier: there are many frauds in this market and one should always check which brokerage firm to use, since there is no support from the Brazilian courts if the investor is injured in any transaction. Despite some barriers, the FOREX market also opens up a sea of possibilities for those who learn the fundamentals about the market and this study seeks to structure and refine to the maximum the knowledge necessary to leverage gains in this market.
