|
This work presents a study on Variable Pay Systems,
focusing on Profit / Results-oriented practices. An
overview of the subject is presented, as well as its
theoretical basis, main concepts, practices and mechanisms.
Profit / Results-oriented practices are also shown in the
light of the Brazilian legislation as well as the main
social actors. A case study on Profit / Results-oriented
practice in an industrial gases industry, White Martins
Industrial Gases Ltd., is presented. An evaluation study on
Profit / Results-oriented practice stressing this industry
employees view is also presented.
