Resumo:
With the constant advancement of technology, the viability of the use of high-power laser as an alternative tool for the cannonio technique inside the oil well is considered, where the existing conditions are such that there is enormous pressure of confinement in the rocks. The cannonio consists of a technique, that from firings of explosive loads of high energy, perforations are realized so that there is communication between the interior of the oil reservoir and the well. In this way, a path opens, an entrance door, so that the oil transits into the well and is taken to the production unit abroad on the platform at sea. The operation takes place through a vertical support where explosive charges are installed, which in turn are introduced to the place where communication is desired, in the bottom of the well, until they are activated. In this way, with the drillings already completed, the uids contained in the reservoir will migrate to the well and then be taken to the unit where the liquids will be processed to obtain oil. Studies of rock-induced deformation during laser drilling will contribute to further studies and may indicate if it is an auxiliary tool for cannistering or is simply not a viable solution. The overall objective of this project will be to determine the induced deformation in Bege Bahia carbonate rocks during laser drilling using optical sensors. In parallel, the morphology of its drilling will be compared with those of sandstone rocks. Thus, the specific objectives will be to study the distribution of the stress state in the Bege Bahia rocks under controlled confinement pressure, in order to simulate the pressure in the oil wells and at atmospheric pressure. In addition, the morphologies of the Bege Bahia drilling with sandstone will be analyzed as well as the byproducts resulting from the laser action.
