Resumo:
Research of practical Procurement techniques in Shell Brazil department in Acquisitions & Contracting for the lubricant plant. Procurement is responsible for buying the correct quality of material, in the certain time, the accurate amount, of the certain source, to the adequate price. (Baily, Farmer, Jessop & Jones, 2000). Procurement is one technique developed in the current of the globalization and the competitiveness. Search to change the vision of the function of Purchases in the organizations. The technique of Procurement consists of analyzing the five forces of Porter in the industry, positioning the company in relation to the market and understanding the supplier economics. Also includes calculating the Total Cost of Ownership and evaluating which is the best tool / strategy with each supplier.
