Resumo:
This study aims to analyze how a fashion company can use sustainability as a central strategy in the construction of its brand. To perform this work, an exploratory research was carried out, of a qualitative nature, in which the data collection was performed through semi-structured interviews. The company under study was Ecoclub Rio, a Rio de Janeiro-based beachwear fashion company, which emerged in 2012. In order to achieve the central objective of the research, interviews were conducted with brand owner, Flávia Manahu, and some of the brand s consumers. Based on the information obtained, an analysis was carried out and recommendations were subsequently made to the company.
