Resumo:
The precariousness of the construction industry in Brazil has become relevant as it directly impacts national economic development. This sector has a brutal importance in relation to the economy, as well asaffecting the international perspective of the country its results directly affect the internal infrastructure, the GDP, the unemployment and the basic sanitation rate. The civil construction, faced with the current scenario, was forced to introduce changes in its management strategies in order to reduce waste and optimize its processes. Planning divided into hierarchical levels has been established in this sector as the complexity of the ventures increase with the introduction of new technologies. This study makes an association of the concepts of planning in the manufacturing industry with the processes of civil construction, making evident the improvements made with its implementation.
