Generation Y is consolidates itself in the job market while bringing new habits and perspectives for the organizational environment. That being said, it is crucial that professionals in the People Management seek to understand it and, as a consequence, successfully attract and retain these young people. The present study has the goal of identifying which practices of People Management are more valued by Generation Y in the job market. For this purpose, a field research was done with professionals of this generation as well as habitants of the Rio de Janeiro state who have at least two years of experience in the formal job market.
