The present work has the purpose of studying and deepening the concepts and developments of Corporate Governance and its evolution in Brazil, as a change of good practices, directing the organizations to the highest levels in the way of conducting and managing their businesses in this new era of business management of the 21st century. Governance should act with greater transparency, fairness, accountability and corporate responsibility, in order to reduce agency costs and have a board of directors that seeks to work in an ethical, incorruptible and transparent manner.
