Resumo:
This work aims to present the bifacial photovoltaic technology and show how this technology enables the optimization of large-scale distributed generation plants, differing from traditional modules. In order to carry out this study, the solar potential of the area, and the equipment needed to generate the stipulated energy was dimensioned. To validate the project design, it was used PVSyst software. The 3 MWp bifacial system had an annual production of 7,123 kWh, while the same system with singlemodule modules would generate 6,743 kWh per year, demonstrating that with the use of single-module modules, a greater number of equipment should be needed to achieve the target of energy considered in the simulated project.
