Financial education and risk aversion are two largely discussed issues, and therefore of great importance with regard to personal investments. These subjects are also important for better decision-making by people who own or may eventually own investments. Thus, the purpose of this work is to verify, through a research, if there is a relation between these two concepts, and, if it exists, what would be. The research was carried out through a questionnaire with demographic questions to identify the profile of people, as well as questions about financial education and risk. Subsequently, the results obtained were analyzed to reach a conclusion within the objectives and limitations of this work.
