The following study presents a solution to the expatriates
relocation dilemma in international companies: outsource
the services offered to the expatriates or create an
internal mechanism to manage this process. This thesis
studies the case of Schlumberger Oilfield Services Limited.
In parallel, it proposes actions, which the organization
should take according to the surveys results, in order to
improve the services offered to the expatriates transferred
to Rio de Janeiro.
