Resumo:
Currently, there are many academics studies that try to understand the power that digital influencers have under their followers and try to explain personal and professional characteristics, and what makes them so influential under so many people. However, most of these studies comment only on the current phase of these professionals, their glamor, their fame, their power, forgetting to show that it was not always like this, and that many started from nothing, without any help. Therefore, these studies end up hiding the initial phase of these people, in addition to all their trajectory, their challenges, and everything they have gone through and battled to get where they are today. Based on a qualitative research with 3 Digital Influencers, which have their main source of income in this activity, and who already have a well structured career in social media, this article had as objective to understand the career building of the Digital Influencer . The result of the analysis showed that these professionals in their initial phase did not believe that this activity, which at the beginning was just a hobby, could become their profession, and that they would have a well-structured income and career thanks to Social Networks.
