The purpose of this project is to analyze and understand the decision-making process of women who belong to low income class, regarding to the purchase of shoes. A bibliographic research and a field study were carried out. The bibliographic research was developed based on books, articles and materials related to the theme of the work. On the other hand, in the field study, fifteen individual and exploratory interviews were conducted with women included on the defined profile. The results of this project were treated qualitatively and revealed important insights about the interviewed people purchasing habits, as well as the purchase decision process and the variables that influence this process.
