Knowledge is present in the development of man, who has the
capacity of learning, accumulating and spreading that
knowledge. The difference among companies lies on the
people who are part of them, and who create and bring
results for the organization. In this way, in Knowledge
Management Age, companies should provide an encouraging
environment and favorable conditions for the acquisition of
personal and professional knowledge by their personnel,
measures which will lead to the success of the organization.
This work analyses the aspects related to Knowledge
Management and investigates whether it is present in the
Trainee Program of the retailer Lojas Americanas.
