Resumo:
The way companies work is changing fast. It can be said that Generation Y holds great responsibility for this change. Breaking paradigms of previous generations, these young people are reinventing the traditional model of organizations. Thus, managing the members of this generation can be a great challenge. That being said, this study sought to understand the expectations of these young people regarding their leaders. For a better understanding of these expectations, a research based on Hersey and Blanchard s theory of Situational Leadership of was carried out with young university students from the state of Rio de Janeiro who already have some kind of work experience.
