Resumo:
This work analyzes the consumer s perceptions and attitudes with and without food restriction diets regarding the labels of bread and biscuits, which are the products with high allergenic ingredients. The objective is to increase the level of understanding about information on food labels and which information on the label attracts more attention. To further understand the consumer, a qualitative and exploratory survey was conducted to consider the opinion and subjectivity from the interviewees about the bread and biscuits labels that were shown. After the survey it could be said that the communication of the labels need to be improved to increase credibility for the consumers.
