Resumo:
Despite the great expectation on photovoltaic energy to generate clean energy to the Brazilian household, it has been observed a certain hold in its growth, compared to other countries like Germany. The present study validated the financial viability of a residential photovoltaic microgeneration enterprise in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Being concluded that the dependency on an expected growth and the lateness of the investment s return, make the current business model not attractive to small investors and entrepreneurs.
