The objective of this work is to carry out a project through ANSYS, which seeks to optimize the chassis of a robot used in sumo battles by the RioBotz. One of the tools that has been used, topological optimization began to be studied in the 1980s and has been evolving as technological advances increase the ability to solve numerical problems. The topological optimization in its beginning had great application in the aeronautical industry, where one can easily associate that the projects seek to reduce the mass of the airplane without losing its characteristics. Nowadays computer software such as ANSYS has made it increasingly accessible to carry out projects involving the concepts of optimization, this has allowed optimization to be disseminated in other fields. The objective of this work is to carry out a project through ANSYS, which seeks to optimize the chassis of a robot used in sumo battles by the RioBotz.
