Resumo:
Currently, there are many academic studies that try to explain the personal and professional characteristics of the members from Generation Y, composed by the newest work force of the companies. These studies, however, talk about people who had a high-level education, as well as solid family examples in their lives. Therefore, they end up making a generalization of the characteristics of these youngers, as they do not take into concern that people with different social, cultural and economic influences may have distinct behaviors, even if they were born in the same period of time. This article tries to understand the professional perspectives from youngers, born in the Brazilian popular classes, in order to check if social differences influences the characteristics of these individuals from the same generation. The result of this analyze shows that these individuals tend to be more conservatives, even if having behavioral traits in common.
