The purpose of this study is to evaluate the future trends of shopping malls in Rio de Janeiro, as opposed to the view of customers and professionals in the field, that is, understand the points of view of different interpretations of the same scenario through the treatment and Analysis of the statements, evaluating if the
professionals of the sector see the real needs of the new consumer and if the consumer is sensitive to perceptions of how the economic crisis and the online commerce may have affected the mall market. Interviews and visits to malls were conducted and analyzed to identify the different points of view. The main of the results, was considered the entertainment for the family, which is being invested to come as the next strategy of this market.
