Personal finances are very important in the financial management of any family, regardless of the number of people who compose. This study aims to present ways to perform financial planning suitable for a family, similar to by small businesses. The study deals in its theoretical concepts of financial planning, mathematical finance and accounting concepts. In the case study presents a financial planning for two types of families: a debtor and saver.
