This study aims to explore, the power of internet use over low-income consumers of home furniture in Brazil. In order to achieve it, 22 interviews were conducted with low-income customers and internet users, at Niteroi and São João de Meriti cities. One interview with a shopkeeper of Madureira region, in Rio de Janeiro was conducted as well. With completed interviews and data collected, it was possible to trace the profile of each interviewed person. In order to identify the usage of internet in their routine, how they purchase items online, the facilities and difficulties in conducting online purchases and in searching information towards home furniture pursuit. The results point that most part of consumers, somehow use internet in completion of at least one purchase of home furniture.
