This study goal is to understand consumer process in hiring services to decorate an event in Rio de Janeiro. In order to achieve that purpose, there were reference searches about it in academic books and in other studies that were conducted according to the subject. Furthermore, interviews were thoroughly conducted with fifteen women living in Rio de Janeiro who have already hired a service for decorating events. It was analyzed the major factors that led these consumers to produce an event, its benefits and disadvantages, and post-purchase feedback.
