This study aims to identify ideas, perceptions, attitudes and opinions of young university students residents in the city of Rio de Janeiro in relation to sustainability and sustainable consumption practices. For this, it was used as the basis for research, bibliographic and documentary references about the proposed theme and a field study with an structured survey based on a scale previously validated to young people from classes A, B1, B2, C1, C2 . Thus, it was possible to assess and get to conclusions about the young and socially responsible consumer behavior.
