This study aims to investigate the factors that lead young people of the south zone of Rio de Janeiro selecting a leisure bar to consume. Used the Analytical Hierarchy Process proposed by Saaty (1980) , it was hierarchical the most relevant factors to the overall goal, first by assigning weights to the criteria and then relating them to the alternatives. For this, an interview was conducted with a focus group in order to collect data for formation of the criteria, For this, an interview was conducted with a focus group in order to collect data for formation of the criteria, then a form with structured questions was made available to relate criterion to criterion. In a second step, the alternative on the perspective of each criterion in order to rank the alternatives and assess the influential factors.
