The paper aims to explain how the stock lease works in the Brazilian market. All of the processes that involve the stock lease market will be addressed. Also, operations and strategies will be showed so that the investors can use to get a greater return to its portfolio. The paper will describe how the operations of long & short and Interest on Capital (IoC) works. For these operations, real case situations and simulations will be demonstrated for a greater understanding of the reader.
