Resumo:
The objective of this study is to identify and understand what the meaning of work to professionals of Generation Y. To clarify the aspects taken into consideration for this young ladies to choose their professional career were used research about the meaning of work developed by MEANING of WORK TEAM(MOW, 1987), Stelle Morin (2001) e Oliveira et al. (2004). The results analysis has your base on the Y generation literature. Based on the responses we got the structured analysis in six different categories : work as a source of development and learning; work and family; work as a means of obtaining income and financial stability; work that allows flexibility, , autonomy and quality of life; work as a source of pleasure, accomplishment and sense of usefulness; and business and social work contribution.
